Had a great day out yesterday (7th November) learning how to prepare and cook game at The Cooks Place in nearby Malton. At the cookery school we worked with a variety of fresh local game including wild duck and pheasant to create some fantastic dishes.
A great day out with good company in first class facilities right in the middle of Malton.
If you are staying with us we would definitely recommend having a bit of time for you to attend one of the courses. The Cooks Place, offers a variety of day and half day courses as well as special “Chef’s Table” events in the evening. Malton has featured recently on the TV programme “The Hairy Bikers Go North” and is a popular place to visit not just for its foodie delights but also for its local artisan and independent shops.
