Pickering War Weekend 2020

News and Events, Places to Visit, Things to Do

The Pickering War Weekend/Railway at War is set for the weekend of the 9th to the 11th of October.  This annual event centred around the North York Moors Railway in Pickering turns the clock back to the 1940’s of World War Two, with re-enactments, parades and tea dances.  For more information, visit the NYMR website.

This weekend is bound to be popular, so ensure you book your accommodation soon.

We are just 7 miles from Pickering, and offer a good base to visit the War Weekend as well as the rest of the North Yorkshire Countryside and Coast. You could even get the bus from just outside our cottages!
