North York Moors National Park’s Mindful Month

Other Bits and Pieces, Things to Do

September is Mindful Month in the North York Moors National Park. Mindful Month is an opportunity to find time for you, time to stop, time to be still, time to reflect.  It has been an odd year, so take the opportunity to take stock and reflect.  Sometimes, we just need the chance to detach, depressurise and have time to ourselves and get away from it all.  Throughout September the North York Moors National Park is co-ordinating a number of events to promote mindfulness, for more information please visit their website.

At Cliff House Holiday Cottages, throughout the year, we offer a variety of out door spaces within our 2 acres of grounds to sit back and relax and just be.  Inside, our cottages are decorated in muted tones and local sourced fabrics to bring about a sense of calm.  Locally, Ebberston Studios offers one day and half day workshops on a variety of craft actives to help distract your mind.  For the active, North Yorkshire offers some fantastic walking opportunities to clear your mind and do a reset.  All of our cottages have maps, route cards, wild life books and binoculars to help make the most of your time.
