One of the things that attracted us and our family to the Vale of Pickering was the small town of Malton, a lovely market town that like many places in the Vale of Pickering wouldn’t be out of place in the Cotswolds. Malton, now famed for its good food, whether that it artisan producers or restaurants, had a very different story not that many years ago.
