Garden Round Up

Our Journey

Some shots from around our garden as we work on improving it.  Whilst the lock down is great in principle, you do still need tradesmen to come and do a lot of the improvements you want to do, so we are cracking on with the garden.  In the left hand walled garden where we have a giant yew tree den, we are letting half it go to meadow, with some twisty windy paths leading you to our wood land garden on the other side of the wall (should we call this our “Secret Garden”?).  In the right hand garden, where we have our orchard and greenhouse, we have been digging out the border in readiness to plant fruit and veg in it.  Additionally, we have lifting out the cypress tress to make the garden feel more open again and have large job lot of local lavender on the way.

Hopefully at some point this year we can welcome you to Cliff House Holiday Cottages so that you can see these gardens for yourself!  And if you do want to come, always ensure that you #bookdirect through our website to get the best prices.
