Yorkshire Mountain Bike Marathon

News and Events, Things to Do

Hosted entirely on the private Birdsall Estate, the Yorkshire Mountain Bike Marathon is organised by the Birdsall Estate and the Northern Ride bicycle shop in Malton.  This offroad mountain biking event is run for one day a year (in 2020 on the 7th of June) and is a great opportunity to ride on land that is otherwise closed to the public the rest of the year, including Wharram Percy.  Wharram is one of the best preserved ruined medieval villages in the country.

With three routes; 25k, 40k or 80k there is something for everyone, including families. For more information, visit the Yorkshire Mountain Bike Marathon website,
