Couldn’t resist proping the camera on top of a woolly hat (to keep it stable) on the wall and taking this photograph of Whitby Abbey lit up at night.  Around Halloween the Abbey is lit up and is open to visitors  – for more informaiton visit the English Heritage website.

Whitby is a great place to visit when staying in our holiday cottages and is less than hour away.
