Stars and S’mores at Cliff House Holiday Cottages

Join us this February Half Term for open fires under the stars eating s’mores and drinking hot chocolate to celebrate the North York Moors National Park Dark Skies Festival. With every booking received for a stay with us during the North York Moors National Park’s Dark Skies Festival we will include all that you need to make your own s’mores and hot chocolate to enjoy by our woodland camp fire.

In each of our cottages we provide binoculars and stargazing guides to help you make the most of our Dark Skies.

Cliff House Holiday Cottages is a collection of five dog friendly self catering holiday cottages on the edge of the North York Moors National Park and a short drive from the fantastic beaches of the Yorkshire Coast.

Included in your holiday at Cliff House Holiday Cottages you get to –

– Swim in our Indoor Swimming Pool, perfect for a hot day!

– Play ping pong or pool in our Games Room

– Explore our 2 acres of gardens

– Slide (if you’re young enough) down our play equipment

– Hide in our garden den

So plenty to do on a rainy day with out going far!

At Cliff House we well placed for a family holiday exploring North Yorkshire. Here’s a selection of just some of the places you can visit when you stay with us…

– local country houses and gardens – from 10 minutes away

– Helmsley Castle and the market town of Helmsley – 40 minutes away

All cottages have a least one off street car parking space with access to to EV charging. Our larger cottages have open fires and the local dog friendly pub is just 3 minutes walk away from our front door
