Yesterday, we took a rare day off during the busy holiday season to become tourists in our own beautiful Yorkshire. We decided to head to Scarborough for a day of exploration and relaxation, and what a day it was! While Scarborough is renowned for its sandy beaches, bustling promenades, and iconic seafront, we discovered a hidden gem that many visitors often overlookβSaint Martin’s on the Hill.
St Martin’s Church, Scarborough: A Pre-Raphaelite Treasure Trove
Located near South Cliff in Scarborough, St Martin’s Church is an absolute must-visit for anyone interested in art, history, or simply experiencing something off the beaten path. We left St Martin’s Church feeling inspired and enriched by the incredible art and history we had encountered.
