Apple cottage was quaint and very clean. It had everything we needed for our weekend stay. Very quiet and dark at night and sited in beautiful, private gardens. The pool and games room facilities were great. The cottages are ideally located for all North Yorkshires attractions. Also close to plenty of places for eating out. The hosts are lovely and very welcoming. We'll be returning in future.
A brilliant location with wonderful cottages. We had a lovely stay here over New Year as a big group. Our hosts were really accommodating and each cottage was thoughtfully kitted out. Thanks for a lovely stay!
Just had another short break at Cliff House - great location with great access to so many places with Dalby Forest a short ride away. Comfortable accommodation and as always a very warm welcome.
Booked a long weekend away with our 3 month old, we chose Cliff house as you get a time slot for the swimming pool we could take the baby in for the first time without the worry of what other people are doing around us and it was brilliant!! The cottage was lovely and had everything we needed to make our own food but also it's in a gorgeous part of the county with nice pubs and farm shops. Would recommend for a much needed relaxing stay.
Our host did everything possible to ensure we had a pleasant stay and, as one of the other cottages was not occupied on that occasion, was able to accommodate our request for an additional car space when we had visitors who needed to be close to the cottage. There is a swimming pool, which we didn't use ourselves, but noted that there is also a coach available at certain times, so this would be great for novice swimmers and children.
