Lavender at Cliff House Holiday Cottages

Our Journey

We are particularly proud of our lavender lined path up to our Orangery.  It was one of the first things that we did when we took on Cliff House Holiday Cottages back in the dark days of the first lock down was to remove the cypress trees that lined the path and replace it with locally sourced Yorkshire Lavender, opening up the view to The Orangery.  Then we got a local landscaper (AJ with assistance from Mrs AJ) to properly edge the path and fill it with local gravel.

We are quite pleased with it 🙂

Join us on a slow motion walk up our path to The Orangery.

Our five holiday cottages are just on the edge of the North York Moors National Park and 20 minutes from the Yorkshire Coast.  Half way between the market town of Pickering and the seaside town of Scarborough, we offer a perfect year round base for exploring the foodie delights of the area.  Our range of five cottages include a 6 person cottage with one en suite and a further 2 bathrooms, as well as smaller cottages suitable for couples and people travelling own their own.  All of our cottages are set within 2 acres of grounds, are dog friendly and all cottages have access to our indoor heated swimming pool.  Have a look at some of pictures –
