OUR WOODLAND FIRE
OUR WOODLAND FIRE
Cottages with an outdoor firepit
New for 2021 we have created a space in our woodland garden for families or groups to gather together under the canopy of our trees and the stars for quiet conversation, story telling, singing songs maybe and the toasting of marshmallows, all around our open firepit. Here, groups are be able to be as close or as distant as they want as they gather around our outdoor camp fire.
How to use the fire
- Let us know that you want to use it
- Use the logs supplied in your cottage, buy more from us, or bring your own. PLEASE – don’t use logs or wood from the garden, as most are left lying where there are to provide a habitat for animals and insects.
- Enjoy the conversation! (But be aware that in the quiet of night conversation does travel a long way 😉 )
- Once you are done, poor water over the fire to ensure that all the embers are out.
