CYCLING IN NORTH YORKSHIRE
Cycling in Yorkshire
The North York Moors alone has over 750 miles of amazing offroad cycling, over 600 miles of quiet, surfaced roads and four ‘trail centres’ with 18 bike shops and 10 businesses offering cycle hire. Here at Cliff House Holiday Cottages we are just on the edge of Dalby Forest, famous for its off road mountain biking trials – the lane our cottages are on takes you directly in to the back end of the forest avoiding the visitor centre.

At Cliff House Holiday Cottages we are well placed for a holiday with your bikes. From the mountain biking centres at Dalby Forest and Sutton Bank, to the forest trails of Dalby through to the old railway track beds of Rosedale and the Cinder track between Whitby and Scarborough there is something for everyone. At Cliff House we provide free of charge two large walk in bike storage sheds, which can take all of your bikes plus any bike racks – just remember to add it as a booking extra as you check out.
